Hiking enthusiast. Camping fanatic. Adventure seeker. Those are a few words I would use to describe myself. It hasn’t always been that way though… As a child, I grew up camping in a tent and eventually a pop up trailer, however I hated it. I had no desire to spend time outside and did everything I could to avoid it. Things have certainly changed now! During my early adulthood, I went on a trip with my father to Canada’s East Coast. We went hiking along the Atlantic ocean and that’s where I fell in love with the outdoors and hiking. Then, I eventually started to camp again, and actually appreciate and enjoy those outdoor adventures. And now, I’m even going on some backcountry adventures!

For the past several years, I’ve had a passion for the outdoors. I love hiking, camping, backcountry, kayaking, canoeing…if it’s outdoors, I love it! Whenever I have a free weekend or vacation time, you’ll find me outside exploring & adventuring. With the pandemic, we couldn’t travel, however it forced me travel within my home province and explore places in my backyard I had no idea about. I’ve truly seen the beauty Manitoba has to offer and want to share this with others.

I started NadineAdventures in 2021 because I needed a place to share my outdoor adventures, rather than just having all these photos and videos collecting dust. I was craving a way to share the details about my experiences and encourage you to do some adventuring yourself.

As an outdoor adventure enthusiast, I am learning about gear, wildlife, Leave No Trace Principles and so much more. My hope is that I can provide knowledge, educate, and encourage you to adventure responsibly and safely.
